When McDonald’s decided to upgrade their stores with digital menu boards, MDI Worldwide was chosen for our versatility in product design and engineering. McDonald’s goal was to make a seamless and efficient transition from static to digital, with the challenge that existing fixtures were not equipped to support the new digital monitors.
Not a problem. Our engineering team analyzed the installation, and designed a digital mounting system that would retrofit the existing hardware and account for several variables, including electrical circuitry, added weight, and a tilt adjustment system for customer viewing. To McDonald’s delight, our digital mounting system installed quickly, avoiding interruptions to daily operations at locations nationwide.
