Window Signs
A national auto parts chain asked MDI to provide solutions to reduce the time employees spent installing window cling signs, typically 3 hours per changeout, 13 times a year. Not only was this time exorbitant, but it reduced the time the employee could service customers. This also meant the employee was using a ladder for an extended amount of time which increased safety and liability issues. MDI developed the solution of PosterGrip® frames mounted directly to the glass. Prototyped in 8 days, this solution reduced the average graphic change-out time from 3 hours to 10 minutes. The product ships knocked down and attaches with a high performance adhesive. Now installed in over 1,100 locations, including high wind cities that could not use clings.
